A New Mini Album

Here's my latest project. It's going in my etsy store (along with the LOVE banner and the diary I showed last week). I had a blast making this! I love the colors and had to do something special. Click on any photo for a closer view. I left the theme pretty much open. Thanks so much for looking!!

This gorgeous (if I do say so myself!) uses the following materials throughout:

Bazzil cardstock, Prism cardstock, Art Noveau paper collection by Miss Elizabeths, Autumn Leaves stamps (Flourish I and Flourish II by Rhonna Farrar, Color Box Cat Eye chalk ink in Olive Pastel and Prussian Blue, Plaid Acrylic paint in Apple Wedgewood Green and Modge Podge.

The Cover was painted then stamped using the same stamps used throughout the album. I then covered it in several layers of UTEE before topping it off with silk flowers, Basic Grey brads, Dew Drops and various Offray Ribbons.

Page 1 shows embellishments made of silk flowers, Dew Drops, photo corners cut with Fiskars Majestic corner punch and Offray Ribbon. The facing page is covered in paper from the same collection and is covered with Modge Podge for stability and aesthetics. Add your focal photo to the front page to start the theme for your album.

Pages 2 and 3 have details including Making Memories Ribbon Slide, Fiskars Emboss and Punch corner punch, hand cut paper embellishments. There is a special journaling spot for journaling and two photo mats. Use the smaller photo mat for more journaling or a special embellishment to highlight a photo if you'd like. Your photo on the facing page will slide right under the left side patterned paper and your journaling will fit right underneath!

Pages 4 and 5. Extras on these pages include: silk flowers, Basic Grey colored Brads, Fiskars Emboss and Punch corner punch and photo corners made with Marcy Uchida Photo Corner punch. The journaling spot is stamped and meant for you to write right on top of it! If you don't like that idea and would rather leave it for show, the photo mat on the right side of the page is plenty big enough for a photo and journaling under or over it, your choice!

The right facing page features four photo corners for a 4x6 photo. Add your journaling to the journaling strip underneath.

Pages 6 and 7. Extras include hand cut pages, Offray ribbon, paper cut with Provo Craft decorative edged Paper Shapers (Colonial). The left facing page is a page filled with choices! You can add a 4x6 vertical photo on the left and your journaling on the right. Or you can add your photo on the right and keep some memorabilia tucked beneath the ribbon on the left!

The facing page on the right is cut so you can slide your photo behind all the decorative cutting. Great for a portrait style photo or wide photo with distractions on the sides of the photo.

Pages 8 and 9. Extras include Offray Ribbon, Making Memories Decorative Brads, Silk Flowers, Colored Staples, Marvy Decorative corner punch for the large photo mat on page 8.

The left side of this page has decorative photo corners cut into the photo mat ready for your 3.5" x 5.5" photo. The stamped tags are perfect for journaling. The right side page is ready for your photo to slide behind the ribbon and includes a journaling spot beneath.

This is the last page. Extras used include a Maya Road flower ribbon slide, a Making Memories embossed metal frame (there is room to slide your photo in through the top) and Offray Ribbon. Include a photo in the Making Memories frame and another on the stamped cardstock or use the cardstock for journaling your final album thoughts. You might even want to use the metal frame for a special piece of memoriabilia like a ticket stub, a lock of hair, a special charm and more! There are so many possibilities for displaying your favorite photos and memories in this album. The choices are all yours!

The back cover is painted and has been Modge Podged inside the back cover and on the outside of the back cover as well for stability and durability.
